This is a song the guys toured with and received so many comments and people asking if they could get a copy that it seemed an easy decision to record the track for a new studio album. The album, which will be released later in the year promises to be something special and by way of thanks for support to you all we would like to offer this track from it as a Free Download.

Produced, Arranged by Joseph O’keefe the song was originally written and recorded by Neil Young. We very much hope you enjoy listening.

SONGS FROM THE SHED SESSION

At the end of 2011, Cole, alongside Joseph O’keefe were given the enormous pleasure of being invited to do a session from the worldwide famous ‘Songs From The Shed’. With the likes of Alabama 3, Benjamin Francis Leftwich & Seth Lakeman having all ‘played the Shed’ it was a great privilege for the guys to their perform 3 songs. The mastermind behind the whole concept (which has been given worldwide coverage from the likes of Sky News, BBC & The Guardian) is Jon Earl and hs unique and extraordinarily brilliant concept has been described as “…2010 answer to Abbey Road” by ‘The Times”. Cole would like to personally thank Jon for everything he’s done , for making them so welcome as the guys had a thoroughly enjoyable Saturday afternoon recording the session en route up the M5 on a beautiful November day.

2012 UK TOUR SUCCESS / NEW DATES

A huge thank you to everyone single person who came to the shows,clicked on links,bought CD’s,spread the word and showed such amazing support – Cole and Joseph enjoyed an amazing 5 weeks on the road playing shows up and down the country and were “overwhelmed by peoples kindness & support”. Following on from that they will be writing and continuing to perform major shows throughout 2012 with major new shows just announced including : ‘The Stables’ (Milton Keynes) , ‘The Polytechnic’ (Falmouth) , ‘The High Barn’ (Essex) & a return to the amazing ‘Ents Shed’ (Bedford).

‘A LONG ROAD TO FIND’ VIDEO

At the end of January 2012 Cole had the enormous pleasure of working with some of the team from acclaimed film production company from Somerset ‘Whitespace Productions’ for the video of the title track of his latest CD ‘A Long Road To Find’. S-J, Tom & Anya who produced the film in a day are incredibly gifted,insanely good at their jobs and extremely professional in their creative approach. Cole described the filming as “An incredibly enjoyable & humbling experience getting to work with such creative and wonderful people who I now regard as friends”. It’s a song that is autobiographical and charts his journey through teenage years of suffering from M.E and so in essence is a sensitive one creatively. The feedback since the video was released has been extraordinarily positive. We would like to take this opportunity to genuinely thank S-J and her team from ‘Whitespace Productions’ enormously for their amazing patience,talents and for the end result that is one Cole is rightly ecstatic with. We hope to bring you more updates from ‘Whitespace’ as Cole is hoping to work with them in the near future and we urge you to check out the video and their website/portfolio.

Genuinely delighted here with the news that Cole & Joseph will be supporting Midge Ure at Motherwell Civic Theatre on Weds Feb 15th 7:30pm. This date forms part of Cole’s Uk Tour featuring Joseph O’keefe and as you can imagine they are both humbled and delighted to be supporting one of the successful and renowned UK Popular music artists of the last 20 years.

We are delighted to say that Cole has a full page review of a recent gig as part of his joint ‘Crafted Acoustic Tour’ with sublime instrumentalist Chris Woods in January edition of ‘Acoustic Magazine’. We are all delighted and humbled that Cole has had such high praise from the Worlds leading Acoustic Guitar magazine and that they enjoyed the gig in Topsham back in October as much as Cole & Chris did. Joseph O’keefe & John Barlow joined Cole on stage that night and their stunning musicianship added to what was a superb unique evening of live music. Well a very happy & healthy new year to everyone, we start 2012 with wonderful news -

Cole’s newest release ‘A Long Road To Find’ has been shortlisted & awarded 2nd runner up in the ‘Fatea Awards’ for ‘Best Single/EP/Mini Album 2011′.

This is a wonderful achievement & Cole and everyone connected are delighted,humbled and surprised & this prestigious nomination. A huge thanks to Fatea,Neil & everyone has supported ‘A long Road To Find’ since its August release.
